Throughout the months of December and January, Frankfort Elks Lodge #530 presented over 600 Dictionaries and Drug Awareness pencils to all thirdrd graders in the Franklin County School System.

Teachers told E. R. Bill Moore, that they had been researching the cost of dictionaries for their classes and had decided that with the budget cuts they just could not afford them. Third grade teachers and students were very appreciative of these donations. Students wanted to know all about the Elks and what this organization does – hopefully, because of this great program, we will have future Elks.
