It’s Time for Thanksgiving Dinner at the Lodge!

One of our favorite traditions at the lodge is our annual Thanksgiving Dinner. It’s less than a week away, as this year it will be held on Sunday, November 11. The meal kicks off at 2 PM, and we want all of our members to come down and join us!

There are two ways to participate. You can either bring a dish to share with your fellow members, or you can donate $7 that will be used toward the cost of the turkeys and hams the lodge is providing (Please note that any excess funds remaining will be donated to the lodge Veterans fund).

If you’re planning to attend, please sign up on the sheet located in the bar. Also, please note what dish you plan to bring. This will help us make sure that everyone has plenty to eat come Sunday.

We can’t wait to see you all there!

Don’t Miss Out on Our Oktoberfest Membership Drive!

Come on down to the lodge on Friday, October 19 for our Oktoberfest Membership Drive! We’ll be featuring live music by Kentucky’s own Robby Cox. Members are encouraged to bring along a guest and show them the fun and fellowship that we enjoy at the lodge.

We will have food and drink specials as well, so don’t miss out. Mark your calendars for Oktoberfest!

The Annual Frankfort Elks Charity Golf Scramble Will be Held August 11

This year’s annual charity golf scramble will be held on Saturday, August 11 at Juniper Hills Golf Course here in Frankfort. Lunch will be served starting at 11:30 AM, with a shotgun start to follow around 1:00 PM. As usual, we’re looking for golfers and hole sponsors for this year’s scramble.

We’re also still looking for door prizes, silent auction items, and of course volunteers. We also need individually wrapped desserts (cookies, brownies, etc.). If you would like to donate, volunteer, or play in the tournament, there is a signup area in the Lodge foyer to volunteer in various capacities. You can find all the necessary forms below. The Elks Family Picnic is Coming Up on August 26

Elk members, our annual Elks Family Picnic is coming up on Saturday, August 26!

This year’s picnic will, as always, kick off with a golf tournament at Lakeview Springs. If you’d like to play, plan to be at the golf course by 8:30 AM. Teams will be formed, and the tournament will tee off around 9 AM.

The picnic itself will kick off around 11:30, when we’ll start serving food. As always, we’ll have inflatables for the kids to enjoy, cornhole boards, plenty to eat and drink, and more.

You can also expect our normal silent auction filled with fun items (if you have something to donate, bring it along!), as well as the live baked goods auction, so bring your sweet tooth!

We’ll see you at the Hancock Pavilion at Lakeview Park this Saturday!

Frankfort Elks Annual Charity Golf Scramble is Saturday, June 18

Now that the spring rains have finally subsided, it’s time to start playing some golf!

This year’s annual charity golf scramble will be held on Saturday, June 18 at Juniper Hills Golf Course here in Frankfort. Lunch will be served starting at 11:30 AM, with a 1:00 PM shotgun start to follow. As usual, we’re looking for golfers and hole sponsors for this year’s scramble.

If you’d like to sponsor a hole, the fee is $50. All you need to do is click here to download the sponsor form. We’ll place a sign on the tee of a hole on the course with your name, or whatever message you specify, on it.

If you’d like to play in the tournament, we’d love to have you! You can bring a team of four, or just show up and form a team when you get there. If you want to enter your team, you can download the entry form here. The entry fee is $50 per person, and includes your green fees, cart, lunch, and prizes.

We’re extremely grateful to everyone who has helped to make this tournament such a huge success in the past, and we’re looking forward to seeing you all again this year as we try to make 2016 our best tournament yet! Come on out and join us for a great day of golf!
