Frankfort Elks Donate Flat Screen TV To Lexington VA

Frankfort Elks Lodge #530 recently donated a 51″ Flat Screen HD Color TV to the Lexington VA Hospital for use in the patients’ newly renovated recreation room. Bill Moore, Elks ER, said that the money for the TV was donated by the Elks membership without any fund raising activities. Every month, the Elks take gently used clothes and household goods to the VA for the clothes closet.

There are many homeless Vets in Lexington who use the VA facilities for medical needs as well as personal needs. ER Moore says the members of the Frankfort Elks Lodge want to honor the service and sacrifice of our veterans by working to help meet their daily needs.

If you would like to donate to the VA, or if you have any gently used clothes or household goods that you would like to donate to our efforts, please contact the lodge.
